Lockable Notice Boards
A lockable notice board helps protect announcements, timetables and posters from unauthorised removal or alteration. It is a practical choice for schools, offices, hospitals, strata buildings, clubs and other shared or publicly accessible areas. Check the individual product description for the door style, lock configuration and number of keys supplied.
Indoor and Sheltered Outdoor Notice Boards
Most notice boards are intended for indoor use. Selected rain-resistant models may be installed in a sheltered outdoor position, such as beneath an awning or verandah. Only products specifically described as suitable for outdoor exposure should be installed where they may come into contact with rain. Check the product specifications before installation.
How to Choose the Right Notice Board
Start with the installation location, the way notices will be attached and how often the display will change. Cork and felt boards accept pins, while magnetic boards make frequent updates easy and avoid pinholes. For shared or public areas, consider a lockable model to help prevent tampering.
Also compare the overall frame size, usable display area, A4 sheet capacity and mounting orientation. Some models can be installed in portrait or landscape orientation, while others must be mounted in a particular position for their doors and locks to operate correctly.
Common Notice Board Sizes
Many lockable boards are described by the number of A4 sheets they can display. The measurements below are a general guide; always confirm the exact dimensions on the individual product page before ordering.

| 4 × A4 | 585 × 755 mm | 480 × 650 mm |

Notice Board FAQs
Why choose a lockable notice board?
A lockable notice board helps protect posters and announcements from being removed, altered or damaged without permission. This makes it useful in schools, offices, hospitals, apartment buildings and public areas.
Can lockable notice boards be used outdoors?
Only selected models are suitable for outdoor exposure. Rain-resistant boards should be placed under suitable cover unless their product specifications explicitly state that they can be exposed to the weather.
Should I choose cork, felt or magnetic?
Cork and felt boards suit notices attached with pins. Magnetic boards use magnets, making them easy to update without creating pinholes. The best option depends on the preferred appearance, location and frequency of updates.
Can notice boards be mounted in portrait or landscape orientation?
It depends on the model. Some support both orientations, while certain door configurations must be installed in one position. Follow the mounting requirements on the relevant product page.
What notice board sizes are available?
The range extends from compact boards for a few A4 notices to large-format boards for workplaces, schools and public areas. Each product page lists its overall dimensions and display capacity.
